VoltShift kits fit most standard bicycles with wheel sizes 24", 26", 27.5", and 700c. The motor replaces your existing rear wheel. As long as your frame accepts the axle width (100mm front, 135mm rear), you are good to go.
Most customers complete installation in 1.5 to 2.5 hours. The process involves swapping the wheel, mounting the battery, connecting color-coded cables, and configuring the display. No welding, drilling, or special tools required.
E-bike laws vary by location. In most US states, e-bikes up to 750W and 20 mph are fully street legal. Our kits include adjustable speed limiters to comply with local regulations.
The VoltShift 2000 has a max range of 50 miles, the 3000 has a max range of 60 miles, and the 5000 Apex has a max range of 60 miles per charge under normal conditions.
